The One Health Hub<\/strong> is a knowledge<\/strong>, evidence<\/strong>, and learning<\/strong> platform<\/strong> that promotes a cross-sectoral One Health agenda encompassing human, animal, plant, and ecosystem health. It identifies gaps in knowledge, analyses evidence, and helps to shape policies for a more interconnected approach to health.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The platform works with global and regional organizations to help mainstream a One Health approach in sustainable development<\/strong>. It also supports global development initiatives by helping them to embed One Health thinking in their programming.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bibliometric analysis<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To map research around the action tracks in the Joint Plan of Action (JPA). The analysis will seek to understand which low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) participate in One Health research, existing areas of research focus, and how this has changed over time.<\/p>\n\t

Zoonoses systematic map <\/strong><\/h3>\n

A zoonoses systematic map to determine the volume of existing research on the factors influencing the emergence of zoonotic diseases. This review will identify potential gaps in research and inform where further research may be needed on zoonoses spillover and the effectiveness of interventions. Research being conducted in partnership with the Juno Evidence Alliance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"African\n\t\t\t\t\"Horizon\n\t

Horizon scanning exercise<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To identify future needs in One Health research and prioritize areas for further investigation to inform a research roadmap. This activity is involving stakeholders from human, animal, plant and ecosystem health disciplines. Research being conducted in partnership with the Juno Evidence Alliance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\t

Plant health for One Health<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A policy forum paper arguing for plant health to be strategically integrated into global One Health frameworks and discussions. Paper published in CABI One Health and part-funded by the One Health Hub.<\/a><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"African\n\t\t\t\t\"African\n\t

One Health operationalization in Africa<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The One Health Hub has proposed further research, in partnership with the Juno Evidence Alliance, delving into the factors supporting or limiting One Health implementation. The work would advance the findings of a systematic map, completed by Juno, reviewing the current state of evidence on operationalizing One Health in Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda.
