Within its scope will be many of the occupations in the agricultural sector:<\/p>\n\u2022 Smallholder farmer<br \/>\n\u2022 Extension worker<br \/>\n\u2022 Agronomist<br \/>\n\u2022 Agricultural input supplier<br \/>\n\u2022 Farm equipment supplier\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cabi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/benefits-540x300-1.jpg\" alt=\"Seedlings growing\" itemprop=\"image\" title=\"benefits 540x300\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\n\t<h2>A Common Language<\/h2>\n<p>The Skills for Agriculture Framework provides a common language throughout the skills management cycle. This improves communication and understanding for all involved e.g. line management, HR and employees.<\/p>\n<p>By using the Skills for Agriculture Framework, organisations can achieve a consistent and integrated skills and people management approach.<\/p>\n<h2>How the Skills for Agriculture Framework works<\/h2>\n<p>At the core of the Skills for Agriculture Framework is a comprehensive set of descriptions of professional skills and generic attributes.<\/p>\n<p>It uses a similar model to the well-established <a href=\"https:\/\/sfia-online.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Skills for the Information Age (SfIA)<\/a>. Each skill is described by up to seven levels of responsibility, with gradually increasing autonomy, influence and complexity.<\/p>\n<h2>A global initiative<\/h2>\n<p>Many organisations within the agriculture space have generously supported the Skills for Agriculture Framework.
