\n\t\tWhat is ICM?\n\t<\/h3>\n\t

Integrated Crop Management<\/a>, or ICM, is a sustainable agricultural production system that improves overall crop health with minimal impact on the environment.<\/p>\n

It optimizes yield and profitability and takes into consideration pest management, soil care, seed selection, crop nutrition, water management, rural economics, landscape management, agricultural policy and more.<\/p>\n

ICM is an important part of sustainable agriculture and these courses promote the adoption of sound crop management principles.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"IMG_9359\"\n

A Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS),<\/strong> or Advanced Certificate (AC), is a postgraduate academic certificate. CAS enables students and practitioners to boost their professional skills through a continuing education programme.<\/p>\n

Candidates who have successfully finished all three CAS programmes can obtain a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS).<\/strong>\u00a0 The DAS, consisting of the three CAS programmes and the technical report, then counts for 36 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tWhat are the courses?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Each CAS-ICM study programme is targeted towards students and professionals in agricultural or environmental management who hold a Bachelor’s degree, or adequate professional training and at least three years of relevant professional experience. The courses are relevant to individuals in extension, research, education, agro-input supply and regulation. CAS-ICM study programmes offer an opportunity to adopt a modern and holistic approach to agriculture that combines ecology, soil health, crop and land management, and socioeconomic considerations. Each CAS programme is independent. To register to the DAS programme, students must have first completed all three CAS-ICM programmes.<\/p>\n

CAS ICM: \u00a03,950 CHF (approx. 4,515 USD) per course<\/p>\n

You should be able to dedicate approximately 10 hours of study time per week. Yes, our CAS\/DAS-ICM programmes are official programmes from the University of Neuch\u00e2tel, Switzerland, and follow the rules for any advanced education programmes.<\/p>\n
